There are few regions in the world where cycling is so deeply rooted in the local culture and where the sport is so warmly embraced by so many people as the Basque Country (aka, Euskadi).
For twenty years from 1994 to 2014 the Basque country had one of the sports most iconic and well known teams, Euskatel-Euskadi. Every summer the Basque climbers would set the Tour de France alight on the mountains of the Pyrenees.
In 2018 the team is relaunched with the aim of developing young Basque cycling talent and showcasing the region to the world. Keeping the iconic colour orange, but with a new logo, kit design and identity elements to help tell the Basque story to the world and give the team a bold aesthetic in the busy professional peloton.
